NI Horticulture PO brings growers together to improve production, strengthen market access and support long?term sustainability. Membership is open to commercial horticulture growers who meet the requirements of a recognised Producer Organisation.

Grow as part of a coordinated group that shares expertise, strengthens supply?chain relationships and improves consistency in quality and planning.
Access to Investment
Recognised POs can access matched funding through the Fruit and Vegetable Aid Scheme (FVAS), supporting areas such as automation, equipment upgrades, quality improvements, training and environmental actions.
Technical & Quality Support
Members benefit from production guidance, harvest training, quality?assurance expertise and support meeting buyer requirements.
Better Market Coordination
Working together improves efficiency, helps manage demand and supports strong, reliable routes to market.
What Membership Involves
Members agree to take part in:
• coordinated planning and production
• the PO’s operational programme
• quality and environmental standards
• shared investment through the PO levy
NIHPO operates on a one member, one vote basis, with decisions reflecting the collective interest of growers.
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to growers who:
• produce eligible Fruit & Vegetable Aid Scheme crops
• are operating within Northern Ireland
• meet the criteria required for participation in a recognised PO
• are willing to work collaboratively as part of the organisation
